In 2006 Andy Cope from the Art of Brilliance and Steve Kay, qualityculture and nlpuktraining, created a network of positive people. At the inaugural meeting in Nottingham in January 2007, 50 people from the business and public sectors met to learn how to live in the upper reaches of their positivity and happiness. They were then given a mission, to go out and be positive and happy, to have a positive impact on others and to take personal responsibility for their lives and stop blaming others.
The 2%ers meet annually, anyone is welcome and wait for it, it’s free!
We were delighted to see so many people at the 2012 2013 & 2014 Summer events at Alton Towers. The line-up of speakers provided fabulous days of thought and laughter-provoking content. We have been treated to some world class jazz; a presentation on 'Happiness in Ethiopia'; children presenting on 'Brilliance' in their school; the UK's top motivational guru Paul Mcgee (otherwise known as The Sumo Guy) amongst many others over the last couple of years. Many thanks to all our speakers; our hosts at Alton Towers; and of course all the attendees for making these trully knockout events.
We have around 1000 people who come along to network and become inspired. Usual attendance for each event is 350 limited by venue capacity.
Join the mailing list and you will be the first to know about the next 2%ers event.
